Maintenance of instruments and control systems for use in oil well logging.
Train local staff to a higher level so that they can operate without outside assistance.

We should be able to work as a team.
We should be able to use initiative and work on our own.
If working rotation schedule, shift schedule, be at your place of work on time so that proper handover can be done if required.
Assist staff that require assistance.
Do your work when at work, not leave it to someone else if it is not nice work.

3. Description of self, along with greater purpose and passions:

I believe nothing is impossible, as long as you believe you can do it. I can do it.
I normally get on well with everybody that I work with, and staff think highly of me. I am mostly the first point of contact if staff have technical issues or have problems they need to discuss.
I try to be the best in what I do.

5. Key responsibilities and accountabilities of ideal position:

Repair equipment with minimum down time. Assist others in obtaining the same goal of minimum down time during repairs. This of course does not just relate to how fast an item can be repaired or assembled, but done with accuracy to keep the equipment functional for maximum time before failure. Assisting or writing firmware for micro controllers. Satisfaction in changing code that make programs more efficient.

Workshop management

7. Career summary:

8 years maintenance of surface / subsurface instrumentation.
8 years assisting field staff and workshop staff with any issues they have.

8. Achievements: 

When I worked at one company, there was lots of equipment that was just placed one side because no one was able to find the fault of equipment that came from manufacturer. I took it as a personal goal to find the common flaw on this equipment resulting in all the equipment been able to be sold and not just show as a loss to the company. 3 Different occasions while I held different positions at this company. The end result was over 6 figures of extra profit on equipment that had been written off.

9. What do you absolutely love doing?

Work that is a challenge, that would make one think about what you are going to do. I enjoy been able to show people how to do things that I am knowledgable in.
I like to try and convince the people around me that there is always light at the end of the tunnel if they want to see light. It is very seldom that people do not smile when they come into my office or workshop.

A company where you feel like it is your company, a part of your family. I am not referring to going drinking for hours after work.
A company where everyone wants the best for the client so the the client always comes back, which is obviously good for the company and then is good for the staff (in most cases).
A company that does not lie to a client just to make a sale.
I believe that one must lead by example!
