Enterprise Risk Manager

1. Primary purpose of current/most recent position:

Conduct risk assessment, combined assurance, internal and external audit findings preparation, in-house audit and closure of audit findings, business continuity planning and disaster management, SOX 302/ 404. Prepare risk reports for the attention of Exco, Audit and Risk Committee and the Board.

2. Core elements or functions that must operate effectively in order to achieve primary purpose:

Annual review, implement and maintain the company Risk Management Strategy in line with ISO 31000, Coso, Turnbull and King III, SOX, policies, procedures and compliance requirements to ensure that all risks to the company are effectively managed and mitigated, Continuous improvement of the Risk policy and Risk Framework and implementation, Risk facilitation at operational to board level and included technical, strategic, business, disaster risk management and scenario planning, as well as business continuity. Responsible for risks / exposures identification, assessment and management and compliance activities, Developing, implementing and maintaining an effective system to keep accurate record of and store risk and compliance related information via ERM Cura and Version Control, Compiling and completing accurate risk reports for the Board, Audit & Risk Committee reports, Executive Risk Management Committee and Business Management Committee, Present Enterprise Wide Risk Profile (EWRM) to Executive Committee, Risk Management Forum, Business Management Forum, Facilitate Strategic/ Enterprise Risk Assessment to the Executive Team every quarter, continuously provide traction, analysis, evaluation and risk rating on the company risk profile, Facilitate operational, departmental and companywide (SHE & special projects) assessment workshop to the Operational Managers and Head of Departments every quarter, and continuously provide traction, analysis, evaluation and risk rating on the company risk profile, Conduct risk assessment for the Smelter and Refinery (Au- Gold, Ag & Copper) Conduct risk assessment for special projects, shut down etc. Ensuring compliance to company SHEQ policies, procedures and standards Document and complete the Annual Integrated Reporting on the Risk Management section for the company, Implementation of Integrated Risk Framework and Methodology Responsible for the invoking of the company Business Continuity Plans and Disaster Recovery Plans, Maintain stakeholder engagement with continuously meeting and traction with senior management and executive to embed risk management Quarterly feedback to EXCO Risk Committee on company risk profile- strategic and operational,
