1. Primary purpose of current/most recent position:

Ensure quality of all engineering deliverables, done timeously and within budget.

2. Core elements or functions that must operate effectively in order to achieve primary purpose:

To ensure the overall health of engineering processes and application of engineering resources. Manage structural and E,C & I resources and ensure availability of these resources to all product lines and projects. Identify and manage areas of risk / engineering criticalities. Continuous monitoring of projects ensuring that correct procedures / standards are used. Ensure quality assurance of all engineering deliverable s across the whole business. Ensure cost of final designs and engineering man hour cost is controlled.

Manage all engineering personnel to meet business objectives.
Responsible for maintenance and utilization of all engineering systems and procedures.

Completion of very challenging 26 rail turnout stage work in Phase V project on time and within budget despite not having any prior Rail Engineering experience.
Commissioning of Railway and Power Station Project’s under very challenging conditions.
Project Management of structural re-medial designs at Power Station project against huge odds.
His contribution to ISO 9001:2015 re-certification.
