Electronic RF Engineer (PHD)
1. Description of self, along with greater purpose and passions:
Diligence, perseverance, honesty, and curiosity are some of the core values I live by. I strive to embody these values in my work ethic and personal life. Through the course of completing my postgraduate studies, I have honed my critical thinking and independent learning skills and pride myself on being a quick learner of new and novel topics. Additionally, I enjoy the process of technical writing, as this is one of the most critical methods of knowledge transfer, and something I believe to be invaluable in communicating complex ideas to others. I enjoy working with others and collaborating on complex topics, as I am a firm believer that nothing of great value can be achieved through solitary efforts and that we need to work together and help each other to achieve greatness. My postgraduate studies have allowed me the opportunity to collaborate with esteemed international researchers on various occasions, which has resulted in several publications in peer reviewed journals and conference proceedings. Furthermore, my postgraduate studies have taught me how research is conducted and have allowed me to acquire the necessary skills with which I can confidently conduct independent learning and knowledge creation. I am now looking forward to learning how to best use these skills in industry to make a positive impact on the RF/microwave community.
