Area and Contracts Manager Sub-Saharan Africa
1. Primary purpose of current/most recent position:
I’m in charge of managing the Sub-Saharan branches of two Italian based companies, both listed on the Milan stock exchange. Reporting to their BoD.
This includes performing commercial related activities, interacting with clients for CRM purposes, liaising with financial institutions for credit lines and warranties (performance bonds, advance payment bonds, etc.), granting the successful and profitable execution of the projects portfolio and negotiating critical procurement contracts
2. Core elements or functions that must operate effectively in order to achieve primary purpose:
Working as an interface towards the client, mitigating risks for the company and opportunities to exploit.
Negotiate and execute procurement contracts.
Manage cash flows in terms of expenditures towards sub-suppliers.
Manage activities on the critical path of construction and O&M Projects.
