In summary, he has over 12 years’ experience in the business development, project delivery (engineering) and general management and has been successful in securing many contracts, valued at in excess of US$600 million in that time. A further 13 years’ experience in the management and operation of mineral processing facilities (gold, diamond, uranium). Full P&L responsibility in 3 roles, including oversight of the full delivery value-chain in both a project environment and an operational environment. In the last 4 years set up 2 new business lines / divisions, gained entry to new markets, identified M&A opportunities that were subsequently successfully concluded. His experience covers projects in Africa, Middle East, CIS, SE Asia and Australia. Exposure includes mining, oil and gas, power generation and environmental consulting sectors.

A Metallurgist by training (NHD Ext. Met., Tech. Wits) with a MAP Certificate (Wits) and MBA (Edinburgh Business School, Heriot-Watt University). Worked in mining operations and in project delivery organisations throughout his career, (8 years gold mining (includes sulphuric acid production), 9 years diamond mining, 11 years project development (diamonds, gold, coal, platinum)) with his most senior roles being General Manager and board member.
