I am currently the acting Risk Manager from the 01st of April 2021 to date. I have been a member of the Risk Committee from March 2020. I am in charge of Health and Safety (3 x staff), Security (80 x Staff), CCTV Control Room (4 x staff), Parking Management (3 x staff) and the Induction Accreditation systems. I also had stand-in duties for the previous Risk Manager. I am currently appointed as the COVID-19 Champion and the Assistant Compliance Officer for the workplace. I represent the company also attending weekly Disaster Management COVID-19 PROV JOC meetings. I have also been appointed as a board member to the Event Safety Council (Member of SACIA). We are currently involved in the re-opening guidelines of the Events Industry (under the COVID-19 lockdown). I have been appointed as a Technical Member of the SABS/TC 264 Technical Committee (Health and Safety at Events - Requirements).
