This is a new mine (greenfield), open pit with an estimated 25-year life cycle. The trial pit and all drilling geology work has been done. Production for the first phase is estimated at 150 000 tons of coal per month, then second phase goes up to 300 000. There is 22km of road from the trial pit to the power station.
